1995 
AIDS Prevention and Control Project established to reduce the sexual mode of transmission of HIV/AIDS in Tamil Nadu.
1996 

First successful Behavioral Surveillance Survey conducted in Tamil Nadu.
1997 

Initiation of intervention among truckers.
1998 

Implementation of Intervention Programs among women in prostitution, slum population, tourists and women in prostitution in tourist locations. Study on Community Prevalence of STD was conducted.

1999 

As a result of condom promotion activities for STD / HIV/ AIDS prevention in Tamil Nadu, 30 million condoms were sold.
2000 

Increase in condom usage among sex workers from 56% to 86%.
2001 

Evaluation by USAID - extension of APAC Project recommended for another five years.
2002 

Completion of first phase and extension into second phase.
2003 

Implementation of new projects; Study on Community prevalence of STD - Round II was conducted.
2004 

Intensive activities in Puducherry. Initiation of care and support programs in Tamil Nadu.
2005 

Support to new NGOs. Implementation of Care & Treatment programs with Technical Assistance Component. Involvement in NACP III - planning. BSS Wave X.

2006 

Public private partnership with IRT, Perundurai Medical College Hospital for extending tertiary care for PLHA. Capacity building for representatives from District Level network. Implementation of SLCC and DLCC.

2007 

End of Project Evaluation of all APAC partners.
