APAC-VHS-USAID in partnership with Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI) has organized a Southern Regional Conference with the theme on “Reaching the Unreached – Role of rural NGOs in transforming Health Care” on 29th March 2010 at M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai.

In this conference, around 248 members from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka has participated.

In this conference, “Meritorious service Award for HIV/AIDS” & “Appreciation of Service Award” has been distributed to NGOs who has worked for more than a decade in health and health related areas and made special contributions in the field of HIV/AIDS with APAC-VHS support.
